For as long as she can remember, Erin Albert, CMT has been passionate about healing the earth and its people. While pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, she began her own healing path through Reiki and Tai Chi with John Wingert, Reiki Master. In the summer of 2002 she was introduced to yoga by her dear friend, Karen Tinaglia, a full time yoga instructor. That summer, her daily practice and the study of yoga with Karen transformed her life. She realized that healing the world needed to start with each individual person. After returning to the Pittsburgh area, Erin continued her study of yoga with instructor Pat Trudeau and the instructors at Breathe Yoga Studio while trying to find her niche in the healing arts. This led her to pursue a second degree in Therapeutic Massage at Career Training Academy where she was trained in the following modalities - Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Chiropractic Assistance, Shiatsu, Sports Massage, Acuyoga, and Geriatric Massage. She graduated with honors in 2005 from the 600 hour Therapeutic Massage Program. In addition to offering Massage Therapy at Breathe Yoga Studio, Erin works to educate people about the importance of the energy conservation through her job at Conversation Consulting, Inc.

A hands-on, kinesthetic learner and worker, Heidi Zellie feels that there is no better way to share her gift and passion of healing all aspects of a person’s whole self than to practice Thai Yoga Massage. She completed a month-intensive certification course in Montreal, Quebec with Kam Thye Chow at Lotus Palm School in 2004 and shortly after while still intrigued to learn more about the workings of our mind-body-breath connection, completed a Registered Yoga Alliance Iyengar Yoga Certification. Her Iyengar Yoga Certification included studying with Lillah Schwartz, Roger Cole, PhD., Gabriel Halpern, Eric Larsen, and Nathan Boniske. Since the Spring of 2004, Heidi has practiced Thai Yoga Massage and taught yoga throughout the United States - from the mountains of North Carolina to the deserts of New Mexico and now to Pittsburgh - where she returns to her hometown. She never stops loving nor learning how to help herself and others stay on the enlightened path of maintaining supreme, blissful health.

About Thai Yoga Massage: Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing art of traditional Thai medicine with Ayurvedic roots. A full-body, dynamic massage performed on a floor mat with both parties in loose, comfortable clothing, this bodywork incorporates T’ai Chi moves, rhythmic motion, energy meridians, gentle stretching, and conscious use of breath. The practitioner gracefully guides the recipient into traditional yoga postures (asanas), while integrating massage and acupressure points. This blending of movements and focused awareness creates a slow, flowing dance. Thai Yoga Massage has been proven to increase joint mobility and flexibility, improve circulation, tonify organs, and relieve muscular and emotional tension. It can also alleviate low back pain, arthritis, headaches, digestive difficulties, menstrual and menopausal problems, and stress related conditions. Since the technique respects each person’s body type and level of flexibility, Thai Yoga Massage is ideal for all individuals. Clients claim an inner invigoration along with a relaxed emotional state.
